Commercial Building Washing

The vinyl on the exterior of the building was heavily covered with mildew and dirt. To clean the vinyl we mixed sodium hypochlorite (bleach) with La’s Totally Awesome all purpose cleaner. The bleach was used to removed the mildew and the La’s Totally Awesome was used to removed the dirt and debris from the building. We pre mixed the cleaning solution in our 50 gallon mix tank for our commercial building washing. After mixing the cleaning solution it was applied to the building using our soft washing 12 volt low pressure applicator. The cleaning solution was applied from bottom to top, going right to left, cleaning ten feet sections at a time. This technique provides an even streak free application and removes all mildew, dirt and debris.

Cleaning The Awnings

The Vinyl awnings on the building were dirty also. They had bird droppings, dirt and mildew on them. To clean the awnings we applied the same building washing solution but using a stronger mix. We did this by mixing the cleaners in our solution tank and applying with our 12 volt sprayer. The cleaning solution was sprayed over the awning evenly and left to dwell for 15 minutes before rinsing.

Cleaning The Concrete Sidewalks

The concrete sidewalks around the building were covered with dirt and mildew. To clean the sidewalks we applied the same solution that was used to clean the vinyl siding. After letting the solution set for 10 minutes, we went over the concrete area with our surface scrubber/cleaner. Our surface scrubber deep cleans concrete without leaving any wand marks. After cleaning with the surface scrubber we rinsed the sidewalks with a ball valve nozzle.

Rinsing The Building

After letting the cleaning solution dwell on the building for 15 minutes, we began to rinse. To rinse the building and the awnings we used our Honda pressure washer with a ball valve attached to 200 ft of pressure washing hose. The ball valve is adjustable and allows us to use just enough pressure to clean vinyl siding and awnings without causing any damage. After adjusting the ball valve we started rinsing from top to bottom moving from right to left. As the water runs down it takes all the dirt and debris with it leaving a clean bright finish on our commercial building washing.
